Trial and Error was a highly-regarded Channel 4 TV program which investigated the miscarriages of justice. It ran from 1992–2000, lasting for an unknown amount of episodes.
In 1990, the BBC's "Rough Justice" team decamped to Channel 4 and set up a production company, Just Television, dedicated exclusively to the investigation and publicising of miscarriages of justice. Just Televisions' "Trial and Error" was headed by reporter David Jessel.
In 1994 Trail and Error published a Tie in book titled "Trial and Error" which covered miscarriages of justice.
